A successful Leader is the one who has got all the tools, qualities and skills in order to motivate and direct others to attain their goals. One of these qualities a leader boasts is the desire to lead,and without it, probably, he/she will not be able to face difficulties and endeavours with the team. Sometimes, things are not going according to a plan,so your work tends to be worrisome;your role as a leader is to keep your confidence intact and assure everyone that setbacks are natural.The team is waiting for a leader’s signals, so if you exude a level of calm damage control, the team will surely pick up on that.Be inspiring! In other words, when you are all mired deep in work, morale is low, and energy levels are fading, it is you that keep spirits up.Also,being authentic to your actions and speech, and demonstrating the kind of behaviour is what we call integrity ;It creates a charismatic leader by all the means. The task and team are a reflection of a leader, and if one makes honest and ethical behaviour a key value, the team will follow suit as Dwight D. Eisenhower says ‘the supreme quality for a leader is unquestionably integrity.’Intuition is one of the most important qualities too ;when your team is making a way through uncharted places, and there is no guidance on what to do- the higher the risk, the higher the pressure-, that is where and when your tuition should kick in.And Your team will look to you whenever you are thrown into a new scenario.Leaders are those who keep their teams’dreams afloat, highly motivated towards the continued success, and being positive in every task they embark upon.
